"One winter day, as I opened the drapes in my studio, the snow
patterns on this spruce tree caught my eye. I immediately sketched it in some detail and painted it soon after. Of all
my prints, this one seems to be most easily remembered by people who sometimes call me a year or two later to order it.
Some viewers speculate as to whether there is a rabbit hidden in the area to the left of the trunk. There isn't, but one
may have been there just before I opened the drapes!"
