"This sunset was one I enjoyed while fishing near the Boundary Waters
of Northeastern Minnesota. Although I took photos of the sunset, I was determined not to try to duplicate the cloud
formations but to capture the essence of the scene. It took seven starts on several sheets of paper, with my garden hose
used to wash off the paint at times, and the loss of my temper at one point, but I finally arrived at a result which I
felt reflected my feeling at the time of the sunset. The fish weren't biting, but the sunset made it a memorable occasion."
