"This seems to be a more romantic name for a flower the books call the Canada Anemone. I remember them from my early boyhood on my parents' farm. They tend to grow in places such as ditch banks, woods edges and almost any grassy place. They bloom in June and early July. I left the background soft and diffused to suggest open space and a touch of blue coming from the sky. This helps to convey the feeling that they may really be out where the wind blows."
