Decision Day
This is a picture of Bryan and Isaiah on Decision Day, the day we all decided we wanted to be a forever family. May 26, 2003. We stopped by the orphanage to talk to the nurse and his nanny to let them know we would be keeping Isaiah overnight again. When Carol Ann told Isaiah's nanny that she wanted to be his "American Manman" (mommy), she handed the child she was holding to someone else and hugged and kissed her. Then Carol Ann told her that Isaiah and Bryan were waiting in the courtyard. She ran to kiss them, too. We were so glad she was happy. I believe this picture was taken by Pyper Weathermon, our adoption advocate, just before they got kissed.
